Bili, a SaaS startup aiming to transform startup teams' ability to track their performance, capabilities and communicate with their investors, today closed a pre-seed funding round, confirming their backing by a consortium of angel investors. The investment will drive the development and go-to-market of Bili's platform, which will take on the perennial challenge of benchmarking and growing the operational capabilities of funded companies.

Bili is founded by startup veterans Rich Kershaw, co-founder of Corethree, which exited to Modaxo / Trapeze Group in 2021, Emilie Leckie, who led CS Operations for Beacon CRM before joining Leckie-Kershaw as a consulting partner, and CTO Chris Butt, who comes from an enterprise technology governance background, most recently Lloyds of London and Trainline.

Leckie-Kershaw has been providing strategic transformation consulting and technology, operations and CS due diligence to global VC and PE investors including YFM, Octopus Ventures, Gresham House and dozens more since 2020. Bili represents the crystallisation of 6 years and over 200 analysis projects worth of learning and experience supporting startups and their investors, and aims to make the team's spectacular expertise available as a SaaS tool accessible to startups from solo-founder stage through to exit.

"85% of startups struggle in the first 3 years for very avoidable reasons. We firmly believe that operational visibility and guidance at the right time can shift the needle towards success, and Bili represents everything we and our network have learned about startup scaling, boiled down into a SaaS platform. We're incredibly excited to be working with our new investors to bring our vision to market this year."

Bili's team has an extensive network of venture capital investors, private equity houses, entrepreneurs and advisers, and aims for a targeted launch in 2026.
